Privacy policy

Weisbjerg Sy- og Broderiværksted, Tothøjvej 8, Thorup, 8420 Knebel, Danish company registration (CVR) 17 88 06 75, is the data controller for the information you give through this website. You are always welcome to write to weisbjergsyogbroderi@gmail.com or ring 20 15 13 47.

When you fill in a form we store what you write: your name, email address, telephone number and your message. If you sign up for a course we also store which session and how many seats. If you send a quote request we store what the work is about.

We use it to answer you, to send you a quotation, to hold your seat and to carry out the work we agree on. The basis is that the processing is necessary to enter into or perform an agreement with you, or our legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry you sent us yourself.

You receive an automatic confirmation in the language you wrote in. Confirmations about quotations, appointments and bookings contain a personal link. It gives access only to your own case, and the links that change anything can be used only once.

The information sits on a server rented for the workshop, located in Frankfurt, Germany — inside the EU. Email is sent through an email provider that handles it on the workshop’s behalf.

There is no third-party tracking on this website. No analytics tool, no advertising pixels, no embedded maps and no fonts fetched from elsewhere — everything is served from the workshop’s own server. We never sell or pass on your information.

We set exactly one cookie that is not strictly necessary, and only once you have said yes to it. You can read about all three cookies on the cookie page, and you can change your choice at the bottom of any page.

The system keeps a log of the emails it has sent, so we can tell whether a confirmation arrived. The log holds the recipient, the subject and the status. Personal links are stripped out before anything is written to it.

We keep your enquiry for as long as it is relevant to our contact, and accounting records for five years, because Danish bookkeeping law requires it. After that we delete it.

You have the right to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to the processing. Write to us and we will sort it out. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk.
