Frequently asked questions
The questions I am asked most on the phone.
Can I drop in without arranging anything first?
The workshop is at Tothøjvej 8 in Thorup and the opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00. If I am home, the workshop is open — but do ring first so you know I am here.
What does it cost to take up trousers or replace a zip?
The prices are on the alterations and repairs page, listed job by job. If your job is not on the list, write or ring and I will give you a price.
How do I sign up for a course?
Choose a session under Sessions and dates and fill in the form. You get an email confirmation straight away, and it tells you whether you have a seat or are on the waiting list.
If there are no dates in the calendar right now, you can ask to be told as soon as there are.
Can I cancel a place on a course?
Yes. Your confirmation contains a link for changing or cancelling your place — there is no account to create. The cancellation terms are in the confirmation.
Will you embroider on clothes I bring myself?
Yes — christening gowns as well as other clothes and textiles. Write to me with a few words about the job, and a photograph if you have one, and we will work out what can be done.
